Class Policy
Welcome to Art Village! We are excited to have you as part of our creative community. To ensure a productive and enjoyable learning experience for all participants, we have established the following class policy:
Respectful
Environment
We foster a respectful and inclusive environment where all individuals are treated with kindness and consideration. Discriminatory language, behavior, or actions will not be tolerated.
Punctuality
Please arrive on time for your scheduled class. Late arrivals disrupt the flow of the class and can impact the learning experience for everyone.
Materials
Materials are included in most of our classes. Additional payment may result depending on the project of choice. This will be discussed during the planning phase and participants may purchase accordingly.
Attendance
Regular attendance is crucial for your progress and the group dynamic. If you must miss a class, please notify us in advance whenever possible.
Feedback
& Critiques
Constructive feedback is a valuable part of the creative process. Be open to receiving and giving feedback in a respectful and supportive manner.
Cleanliness
Maintain a clean workspace during and after class. Clean up your area and properly dispose of any waste materials.
Technology Usage
Unless required for the class, please limit the use of personal devices during instructional time to minimize distractions. Keep your cell phones on silent mode during class. If you need to take a call, please step outside the classroom to avoid disruptions.
Studio Safety
Follow all safety guidelines provided by the instructor. Handle art materials and tools with care to prevent accidents. Art Village is not liable for any injuries.
Photo Consent
By registering for classes at Art Village, participants give permission to use photographs, video, artwork or other likeness of participants for marketing, trade and publishing.
Payment
& Refunds
Payments must be paid at the beginning of the month. Refunds or makeup classes for missed sessions are generally not provided unless notified in advance. All makeup classes must be used within two weeks of the missed class date. Classes can not be carried over to the next month.
Class Cancellation
In the rare event that a class needs to be canceled due to unforeseen circumstances, registered participants will be notified promptly, and arrangements will be made for rescheduling or refunds.
