...it’s Scholastic Awards season! We’re inviting youth in Canada to participate this year, as applicants and volunteers!🏅

The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards are one of the longest-running and most prestigious creative recognition programs in North America. View highlights from the 2026 awards ceremony here.

We’re happy to encourage student involvement and preparation for the upcoming 2027 Awards in the following ways:

• Visit classrooms to support students through the Awards application process

• Meet with teachers and staff to explore curriculum integration

• Provide posters, postcards, and a catalog with last year’s winning artworks

Help us also spread the word about the Student Ambassador leadership initiative! This volunteer program supports the promotion of the Awards within schools and communities across Canada while providing an enriching experience for students interested in art contests, community engagement, and communications.🎨
